Do I need a partner to learn Ballroom Dance?
No partner is required. During private dance lessons your instructor is your partner; during group lessons and workshops, you will dance individually and with people within the group.
What dances do you teach?
We teach all genres. Classical dances, Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz and Quickstep. Latin dances, Cha Cha, Rumba, Swing, Jive, Mambo, Salsa, Merengue, Bolero, Paso Doble and Samba. Country dances, Two Step, West Coast Swing and Shag. We will introduce you to a few of the major dances and then tailor your lessons to your personal goals.
What Shoes should I wear?
Wear comfortable shoes that stay on your feet, preferably without a rubber sole. Ladies, shoes with a full back such as pumps or loafers; Men, basic oxford style shoes or loafers.
What should I wear to dance class?
Wear clothes you feel comfortable in and give you freedom to move.
